CARHA at the Hamilton County Fair

The last weekend of September finds CARHA members displaying relics at the Hamilton County Fair.

When Gen. Wheeler burned the wagons on Anderson Pike, this is the result. There are percussion caps, an iron buckls and plenty of melted bullets in this clump.

This is where the bullets melted down onto the parts from a single-tree or maybe a double-tree that connected the horses/oxen to the wagon.
