The old roads are getting in rough shape and are going to be removed and replaced. We scanned an area on each side to see if anything would be disturbed. Here, Dale works the side while Jill, with the GPS used to record the artifact locations, and Jim watch.

Philip does the swinging while Mason does the "flagging and bagging" and toting the "general collection" stuff. General collection is their term for beer cans, pull tabs and the likes.

John checks a stone culvert out. These have hand cut stone on the tops and sides and were built in the late 1890s or early 1900s.

Wayne always likes the risky shots, such as this one in front of the No Metal Detectors sign. This was at the park boundary as we started to work along the road that passes Wilders Tower.

Mark works along the side of Jays Mill Road.

We didn't get a group shot on Saturday but this is the small crew we had Sunday. Kevin, Lamar, Mark, John Jim O., Jim S., Jessica, Mason and Brett with Chuck and Jill in the back of the truck.
