Chickamauga Visitors Center
Members of CARHA have worked with the Park Service since December of 1994. We have worked at Chickamauga-Chattanooga (Chickamauga, Lookout Mountain and Orchard Knob), Stones River, Corinth, Shiloh, Cow Pens, Kings Mountain, Battle Of Ninety-six, SC, Chalmette (Battle of New Orleans) and Guilford Court House. We can now add the Battle of Horseshoe Bend, Franklin, TN and Kennesaw, GA to that list.

Wayne got a deep target and Jim Ogden, Park Historian, helped dig it out. It was a piece of tin.
Wayne got this nice piece of a Confederate Polygonal shell.
Kevin seemed to find all of the WW I buttons.
Wayne found this block C button.
Which of course was a reenactors button! Just our luck.
Chris Lydick, from SEAC, logs all of the days finds. Musket balls, Enfield bullets and 3-ringers, a few shell frags and some WW I buttons were the main finds. This information cleared the way for them to relocate some power lines to run underground, thus restoring the view to the west from the center.
